First responders from multiple Bedford County fire departments are at the scene of a Friday morning fire in Hardy. The Forest Volunteer Fire Department tweeted shortly before 8:15 a.m. on Friday, March 5 that crews were heading to the Hardy community for a working fire. Fire officials said members of the Stewartsville-Chamblissburg Volunteer Fire Company were already on the scene, where heavy flames were showing from three sides.
