First responders from across Botetourt County spent their Sunday helping a person who was injured after falling along the Roaring Run Falls trail. According to Eagle Rock Volunteer Fire and Rescue, the injured hiker fell approximately 20 feet at Roaring Run Falls on Sunday, May 9. Fire officials say Botetourt EMS transported the hiker to the hospital. “Thankful for all the responders out there making sure people receive the help they need everyday!” Botetourt County Department of Fire and EMS posted on Facebook Sunday night.
