Investigators are looking into what caused a Charlottesville house to catch on fire on Tuesday night. Multiple crews responded to the home on Leigh Place around 6 p.m. A passerby noticed smoke coming from the home and called 911. Firefighters were on the scene in minutes and knocked down the flames. "Within about five minutes or so of arrival, after the units got here were able to locate and find the fire, the fire was found on the first floor of this two-story home,” said Charlottesville Fire Department Chief Hezedean Smith. One person was inside when the fire broke out but they were able to make it out before crews arrived. No injuries have been reported.
