A house fire in Kirkland spread to two other nearby homes overnight, emergency officials said. Crews responded to the scene, a home on Northeast 110th Street near 104th Avenue, at around 9 p.m. Sunday after receiving reports of smoke and flames there. When firefighters arrived, the blaze had jumped to two other nearby houses, and a second alarm was sounded. Everyone got out safely, but the home where the fire started has severe damage. A second home had enough damage that the residents had to find another place to stay. The cause of the fire is under investigation. There were unconfirmed reports that the blaze started in the garage of the first home and spread from there.
