A Seattle Fire Department ambulance was briefly stolen while on call in Pioneer Square early Friday morning. The unit was responding to an incident in the 1500 block of 3rd Avenue , according to Hilton Almond with Seattle Police. When medics returned outside 15 minutes later, they found their ambulance was gone. The ambulance was found about 5 minutes later, still running, in the 300 block of 2nd Avenue, Almond said. Seattle police officials say it doesn't appear anything was stolen. No one was hurt. They are taking fingerprints to see if they can find their suspect.
