An Airway Heights family lost their home in a fire Sunday night.
The fire started at a mobile home in the Vietzke Mobile Home Park, on South Craig Road, shortly after 8 p.m. Some neighbors packed their things, fearing the fire would spread to their homes.
Crews quickly responded and prevented the fire from damaging any other homes though. The person inside the mobile home when the fire started escaped with only minor burns.
The fire also destroyed a pickup truck and damaged another vehicle parked in a carport.
Firefighters reported at least two explosions, believed to be propane tanks.
David Tilbury leaves nearby and felt the explosions.
"It knocked al the pictures off my eastern wall. I was standing right here and it went and it was the biggest explosion I've ever felt," Tilbury said.
