Two people were injured when two semi trucks collided in Tacoma Wednesday morning. Witnesses tell troopers one truck was heading from north I-5 onto I-705 when it hopped the curb dividing the lanes and crossed over on to the ramp from SR-7 to I-705. That truck was then struck by a red semi truck heading on the SR-7 ramp. One of the drivers was trapped in the cab and had to be freed by firefighters. The other driver was also injured. Both were taken to a local hospital where one was listed in serious condition. A third person was treated at the scene.
