The Ryegrass Coulee fire that caused the entire town of Vantage to be evacuated, and shut down I-90 Tuesday morning is now completely contained. It burned 1,612 acres in total. More than 200 firefighters and resources from around the state were sent to help get the fire under control and protect homes in the area. One outbuilding was destroyed, and one barn was damaged. All evacuations were lifted a 7:00 p.m. Wednesday night. The cause of the fire is being investigated.
