VIDEO: The Yakima Fire Department says they are more likely to be called to a house on fire on Thanksgiving than any other day of the year. Fire Prevention Captain Jeff Pfaff said most of the calls come in the morning to mid afternoon when people are cooking their Thanksgiving dinners. "About four times greater in one day and it's because there are so many things going on," Pfaff said. "We've got every burner functioning on the stove, we typically have the oven going, we have the microwave going, people are bringing dishes in and doing different things."
