Police are asking for help in identifying the person or people involved in starting fires at Zintel Canyon in Kennewick over the last six months. The Kennewick Police Department said Friday the series of fires at the city park are now considered arson. Between April 3 and Oct. 1 of this year, firefighters have responded to nine suspicious fires at the park, according to a Tri-Cities Crime Stoppers bulletin. Fire leaders said there was evidence of someone living where one of these fires sparked up, which have left some people who live in the neighborhood concerned.
