The city of Pullman has around thirty thousand people.
Pullman Police are expecting that number to double to sixty thousand for this weekend's College Game Day.
"We have eleven people scheduled for Friday night and eleven people scheduled for Saturday and we are also going to increase our code enforcement officers so we'll have at least two working during the game," said Sergeant Jake Opgenorth.
Doubling the number of their typical police staff.
Even Pullman Fire has gone to maximum staffing with ten people for game day versus the average seven, this is their usual game day approach.
"So you could see twenty to twenty two people at the stadium alone plus the duty crews that are here," said Assistant Chief Ryan Scharnhorst.
During the last home WSU versus Ducks game, couch burning was extremely popular.
