Firefighter/Paramedic James Tierney, a 10-year veteran of Camas-Washougal Fire Department has been promoted to the rank of Fire Captain/Paramedic. Congratulations, Captain Tierney!
Tierney was hired March 2, 2009, and has been serving as a Field Training Officer, also in charge of the fitness equipment. On March 7, his badge was presented by Chief Swinhart and pinned on by his son, Jett. Attendees included all B shift personnel, retired Battalion Chief Larry Larimer, Tierney's family, Chief Swinhart, and administrative staff.
