Yakima County Fire District was called to White Swan for a structure fire. A release sent out by the Fire District stated that there was fire damage to living room and contents, smoke damage throughout residence and an estimated loss at $60,000. The full release sent out by Officer Babcock with Fire District 5 stated the following information: YCFD#5 Station 1 was dispatched to a possible residential structure fire. On arrival of the first apparatus, they found the residence had smoke showing from three sides of the residence and flames coming from one window. The residence was currently unoccupied while the owners were making renovations to the home. It had been a week and a half since anyone had been in the home and the owners are currently out of the state. Units on scene prepared for a transitional attack while waiting for additional resources to arrive.
