Sticky Budz in Yakima County says July fire caused by lab static electricity explosion

Sticky Budz marijuana business caught on fire in July which injured an employee and now the business is speaking on the incident. Sticky Budz says static electricity caused an explosion which occured in the extraction lab. This happened at MLM Distributing. MLM sent a press release on the incident Tuesday which stated the following: On Tuesday, July 31st, 2019 static electricity caused an explosion and subsequent fire in the extraction lab at MLM Distributing in Zillah, Washington. An employee, John Scott, was in the lab working at the time and suffered second and third degree burns as a result of the incident.
