Deputies say a man threatened to kill his parents with a knife, then tried to burn down their Grandview home while his family was inside.
Early Monday morning, Samuel Junior Orozco, 30, allegedly chased his parents around their home with a knife off Hornby Road between Belma and Grandview Pavement roads, according to the Yakima County Sheriff's Office.
By the time deputies responded at about 2:30 a.m., Orozco had already been detained by Grandview police officers.
According to court documents, Orozco threatened to kill his parents while chasing them around the house with a knife. He also broke his sister's bedroom window while she was sleeping, threw objects at her, then proceeded to pick up burning pieces of wood from a nearby bonfire and toss them into the bedroom.
