Crews from the Cashmere Fire Department and Chelan County District 6 in Monitor responded to reports of a structure fire on Weather End Road in Cashmere Monday Morning. Cashmere Fire Chief Cy Sousley says the fire was reported around 6:35 a.m. in an outbuilding. “On arrival, [it was discovered to be] fully involved. All personnel got there and got it put out pretty quickly. No one was inside and there no injuries. It was pretty straight forward.” Chief Sousley says the building was a converted shed that was being used as a living space. Fire Marshal Bob Plumb is investigating the cause though Chief Sousley says it might be undetermined.
