Two firefighters were injured during a call early Thursday in the Eastlake neighborhood of Seattle. Firefighters were called to a home near East Roanoke Street and Eastlake Avenue East at 2:20 a.m. for a 27-year-old man who had overdosed and was in critical condition. At some point during the response, the firefighters were injured. They were transported to the hospital and are stable. It is unclear if the patient or someone else at the home injured the firefighters. Numerous police officers are at the home and have cordoned off the intersection as of 5 a.m.
