Pullman Fire Chief Mike Heston has qualified to receive the designation of Chief Fire Officer - one of only 1,344 CFOs worldwide.
According to The Center for Public Safety Excellence, the designation program is voluntary and individuals are recognized for excellence in experience, education, professional development, professional contributions, association membership, community involvement and technical competence. Heston has served in Pullman since 1996.
