A fast-moving fire displaced a family of four Monday evening, with firefighters evacuating one person. No one was injured. Snohomish County Fire District 7 responded at 6:02 p.m. to a report of a house fire, with someone trapped inside, in the 17700 block of 30th Drive SE, south of Mill Creek. “When crews arrived on scene they found a fast moving fire extending throughout the back of the home,” District 7 said in a news release. “Firefighters quickly ran to the back of the house where they found one person still in the home. They were able to get her out safely.” The fire quickly spread from the garage to the second floor, into the attic and through the roof. When the second floor partially collapsed, firefighters fought the flames from outside. It took them 50 minutes to get the intense blaze under control, District 7 said.
