Firefighters from Longview and Cowlitz 2 Fire & Rescue extinguished a fire in an abandoned camp trailer in the 1400 block of Beech Street Sunday morning. The property includes a boarded-up vacant commercial building and multiple abandoned camp trailers, vehicles and old boats, according to the Longview Fire Department. The fire was extinguished shortly at 7:30 a.m. and did not extend to any other buildings. There were no injuries, and officials say it did not appear anyone was living in the trailer. The fire is currently under investigation.
