Firefighters are in the mop up stage now, wrapping up efforts at the Cold Creek Fire. The fire is now 80% contained and has burned 41,920 acres. This number is expected to remain unchanged for the remainder of the fire clean-up. Fire crews are working throughout the day to continue to patrol containment lines and monitor the fire area for hot spots. There will be no night crew on Sunday night. The cost of the fire is reported to be at $904,000. Close to 300 firefighters were on scene working to contain. No injuries were reported and no homes or out buildings were burned. The fire is determined as being human caused.
