On Friday evening, Seattle firefighters pulled a man in his 50s from Elliott Bay near the Olympic Sculpture Park. Port of Seattle police spotted the man's body floating in the water, and they suspect his death was an accident.
Around 5 p.m. Sunday, a 47-year-old man fell off his paddle board in the waters off Luther Burbank Park on Mercer Island. The man was not wearing a life jacket.
Also on Sunday, Seattle firefighters responded to the Charles Richey Viewpoint in West Seattle on a report of a swimmer in distress. That person made it to shore safely.
