Two firefighters suffered injuries when a 2-alarm fire destroyed a home late Thursday night in Snoqualmie -- the second such fire at the home in the past year. At about 11:30 p.m., firefighters were called to a home in the 6200 block of Fairway Pl. SE and arrived to find flames shooting from the building. They called for extra crews to help get the fire under control and more than 40 firefighters were eventually fighting the blaze. The Snoqualmie Fire Department said two firefighters suffered minor injuries while fighting the fire, and one was taken to a local hospital for treatment. The home was unoccupied and was undergoing construction for damage sustained in an accidental fire last August, Snoqualmie Fire officials said. The cause of this latest fire remains under investigation. This time the house has been totally destroyed.
