PHOTO: Firefighters are investigating after a Maple Valley home was heavily damaged in a fire early Saturday morning. The home is located in the 25300 block of 236 Court Southeast. Firefighters arrived at 1:30 a.m. to find the entire second story of the house burning and the roof already collapsing. Officers searched the first floor of the house and once the fire was under control, they searched the second floor. No people were found inside the house. Neighbors confirmed that the residents were out. A dog was rescued from the house and is healthy. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
