Over the weekend, an off duty fire medic saved a person’s life.
According to a Facebook post from Spokane County Fire District 8, on Sunday, Jack C. was driving home from the store with his family, when he noticed bystanders doing CPR.
He immediately stopped and left his family in his car to help. Jack provided chest compressions as other Fire EMTs arrived. Jack defibrillated the victim and a few moments later, the patient eventually regained a heartbeat and was transported to a local hospital.
