Lewis County Fire District 6 has scheduled a live-fire training exercise for 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Dec. 7 in the 200 block of Fay Road west of Adna. The district is warning residents of the exercise — which will involve a fully involved house fire — and states that people in the area are likely to see large plumes of smoke and fire department vehicles in the area for most of the day. The event is designed to give firefighters real-world experience.
