PHOTOS: Around 6:30 a.m. this morning, crews with Valley Regional Fire Authority and Puget Sound Regional Fire Authority responded to reports of a house fire in the 11400 block of SE 286TH ST in Auburn. The first engine arrived to find smoke and fire showing from a single story structure. After determining everyone was out of the house, crews began an aggressive effort to save the house and extinguish the fire. After a few minutes of fighting the fire, the conditions continued to worsen and firefighters were forced to withdraw from the inside of the house and begin a defensive attack (fight fire from the outside of the house). A family of two adults, two teens, and two dogs have been displaced by the fire.
