Benton County firefighters are working to extinguish a fire that broke out in the Horse Heaven Hills area on Monday morning.
The fire is burning on the Hartley Farms property, and according to Benton County District #5 Fire Chief George Moon, firefighters have the situation under control.
Chief Moon tells us the fire started around 8:30 a.m. He says a worker alerted first responders that a pile of wood pallets and boxes caught fire, and spread to vegetation.
There were no injuries or properties damaged, according to firefighters.
