The Valley Regional Fire Authority hosts its annual Scout Night at the Fire Station on Wednesday, Nov. 13.
Scouting and adventure groups from the Algona, Auburn and Pacific area are invited to join the VRFA from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. at the Lakeland Hills Station 33, 500 182nd Ave. E., Auburn.
The evening includes a tour of the fire station, fire safety, basic first aid training, AED awareness, pet safety, cooking safety, knot tying, water safety, forensics and information on how to be prepared for a disaster.
Scouts and their leaders can attend any or all of the 12 learning stations.
Firefighters and guest instructors from the Auburn Police Department, King County E-911, Auburn Valley Humane Society and the City of Auburn Emergency Management Division will provide information on forensics, how and when to call 911, learning dog and cat behavior and disaster preparedness.
