Several wildfires are being reported across the Prosser area. 911 calls started to pour in at 7:36 p.m. Multiple firefighters across Benton and Yakima counties are responding. The Benton County Sheriff's Office is helping control traffic near one massive blaze at Case Road and Old Inland Empire Highway. Additionally, a house fire was reported at Johnson and Griffin roads in Prosser. Deputies are asking drivers to use an alternate route as the road is closed between Wilgus and Griffin roads. According to Benton REA, 185 customers are without power. They're doing some switching to restore power to some. Workers will head into the area once they're allowed to do so.
