For the fifth-straight year, the Lighthouse Festival will honor local heroes with an appreciation dinner. New this year, however, is that the dinner will be combined with the annual sponsors/VIP dinner.
The dinner is Saturday, Sept. 7, at the Mukilteo Lighthouse at 6 p.m. After the dinner, the annual fireworks show will take place around 8:30 p.m.
Local police and fire agencies, as well as personnel from nearby military agencies such as the Naval Station in Everett are among those who will be in attendance for the dinner. Additionally, sponsors and public figures have been invited, as well.
Those who have served, or continue to serve in the military or as firefighters, police as well as search and rescue are invited to the dinner. Their families are also welcome.
