Strong winds caused tumbleweeds to wreak havoc in the Tri-Cities, hitting neighborhoods in Kennewick. The tumbleweeds are leaving a big mess for homeowners. Jordan Bradfield lives in Kennewick and told Action News he probably has over 500 tumbleweeds up against his house. "There is a lot, " said Bradfield. So many tumbleweeds are against his home that people are driving past and taking photos! Thanks to 40 mph winds and stacks on stacks of tumbleweeds some homeowners can’t even get to their front door. "I am not going out the front door right now. I am using the garage as the only exit from the house,” said Bradfield. He is doing his best to stay positive. "It is enjoyable and it’s a good way to spend some time and burn some calories." Burn calories while burning tumbleweeds is how Bradfield is planning to spend his weekend. "The average person will throw them into the street and hope they go away but if you are me you throw them into your irrigation ditch and then burn them."
