Firefighters battled a shop blaze on Saturday night, causing significant damage.
According to Franklin County Fire District #3, the fire broke out at 9:30 p.m. at a home near Alder and Taylor Flats roads. They say a 40×60 shop was fully engulfed when they got there.
The sheriff’s office said no one was injured.
Because no hydrants were around, water supply trucks were brought in from Walla Walla, Franklin and Benton counties. Pasco Fire also assisted.
The shop is a total loss, and officials say the estimated value is $150,000.
No cause has been determined. They’re hoping to have their investigator out Sunday morning in the daylight.
