An early morning fire destroyed a mobile home and three vehicles in a rural mobile home park near Ridgefield, according to Clark County Fire & Rescue. No injuries were reported. The fire was reported at 3:41 a.m. at the Van Ridge Mobile Home Park, 415 N.E. 194th St. Clark County Sheriff’s Office deputies arrived at the scene first and reported that a mobile home was engulfed in flame and that nearby cars were catching fire, according to a fire department statement. All occupants made it out safely, the fire department said. Fire crews arrived seven minutes later to find the fire had spread from the double-wide mobile home, to three vehicles, a boat and a shed and was threatening mobile homes on either side of the fire. Crews determined that the mobile home and vehicles were a total loss and worked to bring the fire under control from outside and keep it from spreading further. The boat and shed had minor damage, the fire department said.
