COVID-19 deaths related to facility outbreak now up to 12 in Kittitas County

The Kittitas County Public Health Department reported new coronavirus cases and deaths from two long-term care facilities in Ellensburg. As of Tuesday, KCPHD says Pacifica Senior Living has reported four deaths and Prestige Post-Acute and Rehab in Kittitas Valley has eight deaths, totaling 12 deaths in Kittitas County. Kittitas County says 17 people living in Pacifica tested positive for COVID-19, along with six staff members. 48 people living in Prestige Post-Acute and Rehab tested positive for the virus, including 41 positive cases from staff members, according to health officials. Kittitas County received all test results for Prestige Senior Living at Hearthstone and all results came back negative.
