Moses Lake Police and Fire responded to a vehicle fire in the 3-thousand block of Peninsula Sunday afternoon. Fire Marshal Derek Beach says the initial reports were someone was throwing rocks through a window. “When crews arrived, there were two vehicles and a boat that had fire damage. One of the cars was completely destroyed. The other car was damaged as was the boat.” Beach says when he arrived to investigate, law enforcement told him they had a suspect in custody. “They had contacted somebody walking down the street carrying cups of gasoline. It sounds like they admitted they threw the rocks or the bricks through the windows.” The suspect is in Grant County Jail.
