A 24-year-old woman is accused of arson after flames damaged a residence in Tacoma, police said.
Officers and firefighters responded to the scene, a home in the 400 block of South 38th Street, at about 7 p.m. after receiving reports that a fire had broken out there.
When crews arrived at the scene, flames were showing along the side of the home.
The fire was extinguished in about a half-hour but mopping-up operations continued after that.
All residents of the home were able to escape and there were no reported injuries. An investigation linked the 24-year-old woman to the fire, police said. She was arrested for investigation of first-degree domestic violence arson.
