128 new COVID-19 cases in Yakima County; No new deaths for third day in a row

Another high number of positive cases were reported by the Yakima Health District Thursday evening, including no new COVID-19 deaths. For the third day in a row, the health district is reporting no new deaths from the virus in Yakima County. YHD says 128 more people tested positive for COVID-19, now totaling 3,380 confirmed cases. According to the YHD website, 45 patients are currently hospitalized, 253 who were ever currently or previously hospitalized, and 1,116 who have recovered. The recovery number is based on people who have gone 28+ days since their positive COVID-19 diagnosis, and are not currently hospitalized or deceased.
