2 women seriously injured after report of explosion in RV in Auburn

Two women were seriously injured Thursday in what witnesses described as an explosion and fire inside an RV, emergency officials said. Fire crews and medics responded to the scene, in the 13000 block of 297th Street SE in Auburn, at about 9:45 a.m. after receiving reports of an explosion, said Valley Regional Fire Authority. The flames were extinguished and two women were being treated for possible serious injuries. Both are being taken to Harborview Medical Center. The cause of the explosion and fire are undetermined at this time.
