Police arrested Juan Lucero, 39, after they say he crashed a vehicle twice, left the scene as it burst into flames and was seen urinating on the sidewalk nearby.
Police say shortly 11 PM on Saturday they received a call about a hit and run collision on Equinox Court. A vehicle struck a basketball goal, pushing it into a second vehicle nearby. Police say the car, and driver, fled the scene.
Police say that same vehicle crashed into landscaping at a roundabout at the intersection of Madison and El Paso Drive. The 2005 Toyota Highlander caught fire and spread to nearby trees and bushed in the roundabout.
Police say the driver walked away from the scene of the second crash but officers found him nearby allegedly urinating on the sidewalk.
Police booked Lucero into the Franklin County Jail for suspicion of DUI and Hit and Run.
