VIDEO: A 23-year-old Vancouver woman was taken to a hospital Monday night following a fiery crash along the east side of northbound Interstate 205, just north of Mill Plain Boulevard. Vancouver police and firefighters were called at about 9:15 p.m. to a crash involving injuries, emergency dispatch records show. Fire department spokesman Joe Spatz said firefighters were initially dispatched to a brush fire along the freeway. But when they arrived, they discovered a pickup burning on the east side of I-205, just north of the Northeast 112th Avenue offramp. It’s unclear how the pickup ended up in that spot. It reportedly struck a light pole and sign, according to Washington State Patrol Trooper Will Finn. Fire crews stationed at The Offramp Sports Bar & Grill, 400 N.E. 112th Ave., Spatz said. They cut a fence behind the business to access the blaze, he said, and quickly extinguished it.
