A dog died in house fire Vancouver on Thursday night, according to the Vancouver Fire Department. Firefighters were called to 12311 S.E. McGillivray Boulevard at around 7:40 p.m. The flames were so intense that attacking firefighters had to withdrawal from the building. At one point a firefighter was temporarily trapped. He was freed and didn’t need to be taken to the hospital. A crew will be at the home all night because of the wind.
