Crews that have spent days battling the Burbank Fire that threatened neighborhoods in Selah and Terrace Heights say it is now almost completely contained.
As of Wednesday morning, crews say they have been able to contain 98% of the fire.
Fire officials say the fire hasn't grown at all since Monday, and has burned a total of 13,000 acres.
Crew spent most of Tuesday rehabilitating containment lines and mopping up hot spots. Most of those fighting the fire were released late Tuesday.
Due to the success in containing the fire, fire officials say command will be turned back over to local agencies at noon.
