I-90 fire burns about 40 acres in Grant County

The I-90 Fire, burning in Grant County near the Wild Horse monument, has been contained according to the Sheriff's Office. Deputies say the fire sparked at about 540 p.m. Sunday afternoon and burned about 40 acres. A helicopter from the Department of Natural Resources was brought in to get the blaze under control. The fire burned sage and shrub steppe according to GSOC, no structures were at risk Deputies say the cause is under investigation.
