Fire crews say one person is still unaccounted for after a suspicious fire tore through the old Brownstown Tavern. The fire ignited overnight Saturday with crews called to the building near the intersection of Branch Rd and Brownstown Rd west of Harrah at 4:40 a.m. The owner, Tim Catilleja had testified in a federal trial against Jordan Stevens this past week; Stevens is accused of killing a woman in Toppenish in 2019. The FBI and ATF have taken over the investigation into the blaze that destroyed the building. As of Monday, members of Yakima County Fire District #5 were on scene clearing out hotspots to make the location safe for investigators to get inside. Above the tavern itself crews say there were 6 different rooms and one of the occupants is still missing.
