Normalcy is making its way back to Washington thanks to the COVID-19 vaccine.
"We now have three very effective vaccines coming into the state of Washington," said Dr. Umair Shah, Washington’s Secretary of Health.
With three vaccines from Pfizer, Moderna and Johnson and Johnson now in circulation the Department of Health says more supply has helped us get to a point where we've hit our goal of daily inoculations.
45,000 doses a day has been the marker Washington has been trying to reach since the start of the vaccination process and in early March we've achieved it.
"The more vaccine we have, of course, the more we can slow this disease transmission and improve our ability to safely reopen businesses, schools, and really, hopefully, get out of this pandemic," Shah said.
