The Orondo and Mansfied Fire Departments have been provided almost 19,000 cans of emergency drinking water by Anheuser-Busch and Columbia Distributing. According to Douglas County Fire District 5’s Twitter account, the water will be sourced from Anheuser-Busch’s brewery in Fort Collins, Colorado through a partnership with the National Volunteer Fire Council. The Fort Collins brewery periodically pauses its beer production to produce canned emergency drinking water. The easily recycled aluminum cans of water can be quickly mobilized to various fire locations for community and firefighter use.
