PHOTOS: Healthcare workers and first responders who have cared for the community throughout the COVID-19 pandemic were honored Friday with a parade. Vehicles from the Spokane Fire Department, Spokane Police Department and American Medical Response drove by local hospitals and the Spokane Regional Health District to thank those healthcare workers. "We're exceptionally proud of our healthcare partners whose work often goes unnoticed. They have been on the frontline of the pandemic since the beginning," said Fire Chief Brian Schaeffer. "This parade is a small act of appreciation for their unwavering dedication to the Spokane Community."
