The Kennewick Fire Department rescued Robin Berry, 57, Tuesday morning after crashing a pickup truck into a canal. The Kennewick Police Department says Berry was traveling east on Creekstone Dr. near S. Williams St. and failed to follow the curve of the road, thus driving into the canal. Firefighters were able to get a ladder into the bed of the pickup truck, and rescue Berry. Police believed Berry was impaired while driving. Kennewick Police say Berry was booked into the Benton County Jail for DUI. Berry was not injured in the crash, according to Kennewick Police. The Benton County Sheriff’s Office, and Kennewick Police and Fire Departments responded to the crash.
