A storage building and several vehicles have been destroyed by a fire that erupted in Wapato Thursday morning. Yakima County Fire District 5 says it got the call of the structure fire just after 9:30 Thursday morning. When firefighters arrived they found a shed and trailer burning at the 6100 block of N. Track Road. Crews say the fire had quickly spread and burned multiple vehicles nearby. No people or animals were hurt in the fire. The county Fire Marshal is investigating the cause.
